Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the DocPicker website and service operated by Aliaksandr Shcharbak, based in Poznań, Poland.
By accessing or using DocPicker, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Service description
DocPicker is a content collection platform that allows agencies to collect documents, files, and information from their clients through branded portals.
The Service is currently in development. Features described on our website represent planned functionality and may change before launch.
3. Accounts
When the Service launches, you will need to create an account to use DocPicker. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
4. Free and paid plans
DocPicker offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Details of plan features and pricing are available on our pricing page.
- Free plan: Available at no cost with limited features
- Paid plans: Billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
- Changes: We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious files or code
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
- Use the Service to collect sensitive personal data (health, financial, etc.) without appropriate safeguards
6. Content and data
- Your content: You retain ownership of all content you upload or collect through DocPicker
- Our access: We do not access your content except as necessary to provide the Service, or as required by law
- Data processing: When you use DocPicker to collect data from your clients, you act as the Data Controller and we act as the Data Processor under GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request
7. File storage
- Files uploaded through DocPicker are stored on Cloudflare R2 (EU region)
- Maximum file size: 50MB per file
- We are not responsible for the content of uploaded files
- Upon account deletion, all associated files will be permanently removed within 30 days
8. Availability
- We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- The Service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind
- We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible
9. Intellectual property
- The DocPicker name, logo, and branding are our property
- The Service software and design are protected by copyright
- Your use of DocPicker does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control
11. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where possible
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poznań, Poland.
